Bitcoin, by Sharpe's Ratio / ROI, is outperforming stocks, real estate, bonds, and gold; its market cap is above the M2 value of most fiat systems in the world; and 2nd layer (lightning nodes and other) is increasing. Dispel FUD and carry on.

The central bank "solution" to bidless markets is to become the buyer of last resort: when no sane investor will buy bonds, stocks or real estate, then the central bank starts buying everything in sight... This is why everyone should own bitcoin!

I just read a tweet saying, even if Bitcoin falls by 90% but still it outperformed bonds, stocks, real-estate in 2017.

Truly Bitcoin was in the center of every discussion in 2017. It was the year of crypto and this year gave a revolutionary boost to cryptocurrency market.

Developers may create Bitcoin-based coloured coins. This ‘coloring’ method running on top of a blockchain can make these tokens represent real-world things like securities, gold, stocks, bonds, real estate, and everything else under the sun.

And it WILL fill from all the millions of gallons of other tanks out there.
Right now it's just barely wet inside because only the squirrels knew it didn't leak.
But the Wall Street Journal just said it was sound.
So now the others standing around with millions of gallons of water are going to start filling it up.

My portfolio consists of 5% liquid cash savings, 10% bonds, 25% real estate, 40% stocks, 20% Bitcoin

Yes, I'm willing to take a risk. Bitcoin is deflationary and that means that as long as everything stays intact, its value will gradually rise. There has never been a deflationary currency until Bitcoin came along, gold was close but it's no good as a currency. I'm not blindly doing this either, I always invest in what I can understand. I waited until I understood every primary function/feature of Bitcoin before I went out to invest in it.

Bitcoin has been \”running up\” for 9 years, not 24 months. There is a small number of people in this world that truely understand bitcoin and real estate investors are not in that small group. Most people buying into bitcoin currently are in fact speculators but that does define bitcoin as a bubble. Meanwhile, precious metals like gold and silver, alongside digital assets like bitcoin and ethereum have shined during the economic downturn. Rather than investing in real estate, which was once a fairly predictable safe haven, many are turning to safe-haven assets that are far more liquid. The U.S. real estate market is facing a conundrum, as there’s now a tidal wave of renters who can’t pay rent and a massive number of mortgage defaults stacking up like never before. Bond Unit is issued on the Bitshares Blockchain. Each unit represents a monetary value, that value derives from a mixture of secure and appreciating assets held in Bond’s portfolio. 100% of your contributions are secured against all crypto-currencies, property and real estate held by Bond. Real estate is lagging far behind stocks, gold, and Bitcoin in the last twelve months. It also lags behind stocks and Bitcoin over the last five years—See Table 2. ... iShares 20+ Year Treasury ...
